My name is Zachariah Russell, and I started Form and Grain out of a respect for handmade work and the quiet beauty of natural materials. Every piece begins with the wood itself — its character, movement, and limitations — and my role is to guide it into something useful that will live well in your space for years to come.

I work with homeowners, architects, designers, and builders to create furniture, cabinetry, and architectural millwork that feel considered and lasting. Each project starts with conversation and ends with something built to be used, not just looked at. All work is done in-house: design, material selection, fabrication, finishing, and installation. Keeping the process under one roof allows for clear communication, careful attention, and consistency from the first sketch to the final fit.
